I had the pleasure of visiting Chicago this last winter. Well, more specifially i had the pleasure of visiting Vernon Hills, Illinois, but since most folk have heard of Chicago and not Vernon Hills, i'll say Chicago. Besides, Chicago is just flat out COOL. Vernon Hills is just generic, cracker filled, white bread, conformist, soulless and dull. If i had to live in a large city away from the ocean, i'd live in Chicago in a heartbeat.

Oh... don't go telling me it's on Lake Michigan and that's as good as the Ocean. I know better than that.
